English at the Workplace (EWP)
English at the Workplace for Professionals in Education is a course for professionals who wish to develop their English language usage in a workplace and social context. It is designed to help leaders gain confidence, to be more proficient in English, and to be able to practise a range of practical and professional communication skills.
The objectives of this course are to:
Develop practical skills and general communication skills, such as improving small talk and performance at networking events, as well as extending professional hospitality and entertaining visitors and guests at social functions.
Manage common forms of written professional communication.
Improve oral communication skills in a workplace context that requires a strong professional focus.
Participants will be able to:
1. Use appropriate language for meetings and presentations.
2. Use common forms of written professional communication.
3. Use appropriate formats, styles, conventions, and tone.
4. Apply a range of practical and professional communication skills.
